Birthday Freebies

There’s no better way to celebrate one’s birthday than with free stuff — or at the very least, deep discounts on your favorite stuff. Thanks to my loyalty (translation: frequent and unnecessary purchases) to select retail establishments, I have even more reasons to celebrate today, including:

  • One free Starbucks beverage — of any type (Yes!)
  • $15 off my next purchase at The Limited (Score!)
  • $5 off at DSW (Um, thanks?)

For some reason, the DSW offer seems a little less exciting than the rest, likely because I receive a $20-off coupon from them every now and then. Instead of labeling my favorite shoe store’s offer as “weak,” however, I’ll take it with a smile and try to use the coupon toward a bargain-area pair of kicks.

The point of this post — in addition to shamelessly soliciting birthday wishes from those crawling the Internet today — is to point out how easy it is to score savings and even freebies on your birthday. I could have “treated myself” to a $4 gourmet coffee but chose to take a few minutes to register my Starbucks gift card in order to have it for free. Happy Birthday to me, indeed!

Hi Sandra! In addition to the freebies I listed, you can find a great list of restaurant and retailer birthday freebies here – http://www.mrfreestuff.com/birthday-freebies/. Know that some free offers require registration prior to your birthday. Thanks for commenting!
